Hi, my name is Leonard, and today I’m going to be talking about my Quarter 4 (Q4) Genius Hour project. My Q4 Genius Hour is based on a job that I might want to be in the future. The job that I might be doing in the future is a scratch programmer. First, my teacher Mr. Farnum told me to write a computerized letter to whoever has the same job now, as I might have in maybe 20 years. Mr. Farnum wanted me to add his e-mail in the computerized letter so that whoever got the e-mail, could reply back to Mr. Farnum. Then, Mr. Farnum could give the information that he received, to us. Second, after I read the reply, I will think to myself “I want to use scratch as a way to become a computer programmer.” I will take classes for computer programming and then go to college and get a degree in computer programming. Then I will get hired on as a scratch and code programmer. In the future, I will be a good scratch programmer and make a lot of people happy.
For the people who do not want to get information from a current scratch programmer, but want to be good at scratch, here’s a tip from me:
1. Sprite (character) + when space key pressed + change fisheye effect by blank + turn right or turn left by blank + change color effect by blank = your sprite (character) spinning, changing color, and looking like a fishes eye all at the same time.
P.S. I think that scratch is the best coding site ever made in the world.
